Riptide is a professional contact insecticide that is an excellent choice for outdoor automatic misting systems to control mosquitoes and flies. This product has two main active ingredients: piperonyl butoxide and pyrethrins. Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) is an organic compound with no pesticidal activity of its own, but which it's able to enhance the potency of certain pesticides such as: carbamates, pyrethrins, pyrethroids and rotenone. Pyrethrins are a class of synthetic insecticides that imitate the structure and insecticidal properties of the naturally occurring insecticide pyrethrin which comes from the flowers of Chrysanthemums. Riptide Waterbased Pyrethrin ULV is particularly designed for use in Ultra Low Volume (ULV) foggers and automatic misting systems.

This product can be used:
- Both indoors and outdoors;
- As a contact spray, around home foundations, dried fruit product storage areas, stored food areas, on peanuts, nuts, beans, seeds in bulk, bags or other packaging;
- For federally inspected meat and poultry plants, stored grains;
- On animals and as a treatment of outdoor annoyance pests and more.
How to use:
- It is important to close room and shut off all air conditioning or ventilating equipment;
- Diluted in mechanical fogging or spraying equipment to control accessible stages of a variety of stored product pests, crawling pests, and flying insects;
- Direct spray towards ceiling and upper corners of room. Leave room closed for ½ hour and ventilate thoroughly before re-entry;
- As a ULV or space spray;
- Can be used undiluted or diluted in a variety of equipment and for some pests;
- It can be used as a surface spray to control accessible stages of cockroaches, silverfish, beetles, and crickets;
- For the maximum control of the listed pests spray thoroughly into all cracks, molding, crevices, walls, floors and surfaces of bins, storage and handling areas;
- For the flying insects the application should be made in the evening or early morning when mosquitoes are typically most active;
- Automatic systems must be programmed so as not to activate and/or release pesticides when people, pets, and food or feed are present;
- For best performance, spray solution should be in the pH range of 5.5 to 7.0.
