Larvicide Dimilin 25 WP, 100 g

Dimilin  25 WP is a powerful larvicide used for the combat of both flies and mosquitoes larvae. It acts in the early stages of the insect larvae by blocking their growth process.

Mode of action:
The insecticidal activity of the active substance is based on the inhibition of the chitin synthesis in the larval stage of the insects, blocking the pouring process.

Dimilin 25 WP acts by ingestion. Does not affect adult insects.

After applying the treatment, larvae will have a normal appearance until the next molt. Meanwhile, their feeding will be significantly reduced. With the first molt, the larvae will not be able to lose the old cuticle while the new, malformed cuticle can not withstand internal pressure during the molt. Therefore it breaks, and fluid in the body exudes. This effect occurs in young larvae because they are much more sensitive than adults, so treatment should be especially applied to younger ones.
Dimilin 25 WP may also have an ovicidal effect, with the ability to reduce the reproductive capacity of adult females.

How to use it:

-For the control of  mosquitoes:

Species: Aedes, Anopheles, and Culex.

The dose may vary depending on the environment in which the application is made.
In a clean water environment: 1 - 1.5 g / 10 - 15 liters of water, for an area of 100 square meters;
In an environment with polluted water or grassy areas: 2 - 4 g / 10 - 15 liters of water, for an area of 100 square meters;
In closed systems, standing water: 4 g / 10 to 15 liters of water, for an area of 100 square meters.

-For the control of flies:

Species: The domestic fly, Autumnalis Fly, Stomoxys calcitrans, Fannia canicularis, and Hamaetobia irritans.

The recommended dose is 20 - 40 grams of product dissolved in 2.5 - 5 liters of water for an area of 10 square meters.
For the first treatment, both for flies and mosquitoes, use the maximum recommended dose.
During the summer, the treatment will be repeated at 3-4 weeks, during which mosquitoes and flies will reproduce.
