Product information
Vertimec 1.8% EC is an acaricide-insecticide for pest control, the problem in vegetable crops, and fruit trees. The product fights pests resistant to insecticides in the group of pyrethroids or organophosphorus.
Mode of action: Vertimec 1.8% EC penetrates quickly into the leaves (translaminar effect) and forms an active deposit that ensures pest control over a long period. It acts mainly by ingestion and destroys pests that feed on the treated parts of the plant. It fights the mobile forms of mites and honey fleas (adults and larvae) but has no ovicidal effect.
After treatment with Vertimec 1.8% EC, the pests are paralyzed immediately, but the maximum mortality level is obtained at 3-5 days. Vertimec 1.8% EC is approved in most countries with a tradition of growing vegetables and fruits.
How to use: For vegetables and ornamental plants, do not apply at intervals of less than 7 days. Vertimec 1.8% EC has no shock action and therefore, to obtain optimal results in pest control, it is recommended to carry out preventive treatments at the beginning of the infestation, to avoid any crop loss.
It is recommended to use it mixed with mineral oil in a dose of 0.25% (250 ml / 100 l of water) to improve the penetration into the plant and the uniformity of the treatment, leading to an increase in efficacy and duration of protection.
The maximum number of treatments per season is 4-5 for vegetables and 1-2 for vines and fruit trees.
