Product information
Insecticide to control harmful insects on cereals, rapeseed, vegetables, potatoes, sugar beet, and trees
BENEFITS:
- State-of-the-art pyrethroid (5th generation), VANTEX®60 CS is the pinnacle in this class of insecticides, encompassing all the changes that have been made over time to optimize the qualities and performance of pyrethroids.
- It is a pure product, with a single isomer, strongly active, pyrethroid with the lowest application rates, formulated as a suspension of microcapsules in water (CS).
- The microcapsules adhere strongly to the surface of the plant, thus conferring greater resistance to washing.
- Excellent photostability and maintaining efficiency at high temperatures.
- Very broad control spectrum - fights insects with a mouthpiece adapted for sucking and chewing; therefore, it is not necessary to apply two products with different control spectrum.
MODE OF ACTION:
- Fast action by contact and ingestion.
- It acts on the nervous system, leading to hyperactivity, paralysis, and finally, the death of the insect.
- The effect of the product is observed shortly after application, by stopping the feeding of insects.
- Acts on pests of the orders: Lepidoptera, Diptera, Coleoptera, Homeoptera, Hemiptera.
- It has larvicidal and ovicidal action.
- The different sizes of the microcapsules ensure the diffusion of the active substance for a longer time, thus determining lasting protection against pests.
WAY OF USAGE:
- The treatments are applied at the warning or when it has been found that the economic damage threshold has been reached.
- Due to the increased photostability, the product can be administered even up to temperatures of 25 - 26º Celsius.
- It is recommended to avoid applying the product during the flowering period.
- Do not carry out more than 3 pyrethroid treatments per season to avoid resistance.
- Can be combined with fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, liquid fertilizers, and growth regulators, following the recommendations on the product label.
- The control provided lasts between 7 and 14 days, depending on the climatic conditions and the type of pest controlled.
- The amount of water for the treated solution varies between 200 - 400 l and 1,000 - 1,500 l, depending on the culture in which the control operation is applied and the development phase.
