Product information
Basamid granule is soil-treated with nematicide, insecticide and fungicide. Herbicidal effect on soil seeds.
Mode of action:
The Basamid granule product is a soil sterilizing agent applied to the surface of the soil and is incorporated into the soil. Under humidity, the product decomposes forming a sterilizing gas with a nematicide, fungicide, insecticide and herbicide effect. For herbicidal action it is recommended to cover the treated soil with foil or to compact and flood the soil to retain the sterilizing gas for as long as possible in the soil. After the gas dissipation can be sown or planted, the product does not leave toxic residues in the soil, the decomposition products are nutrients for the plants. Basamid granules apply at temperatures above 6 ° C when the soil is wet. It is recommended to keep soil moisture before, during and after application of the product, to about 60% of the field capacity.
Preharvest interval:
Between the last treatment and sowing or planted, a 10-30 day preharvest interval is provided depending on the soil temperature; the lower (minimum 6 ° C), the longer the waiting time (longer than 30 days). The Creson test is performed to check the proper ventilation of the soil. Creson test is done with salad seeds germinated in treated soil samples; if they do not germinate the soil, it must be allowed to sow and intervene with soil works for aeration, but no deeper than the product has been incorporated.
Rotation of crops:
The crop rotation is affected, the product having a herbicidal effect, can affect the crop under the conditions of inappropriate application. After applying the product to the sowing of a crop, it may take at least 10 days and a maximum of 35 days depending on the soil temperature and the work carried out.
Usage:
The Basamid granule product is applied prior to the ending of the culture, on the culture substrate or by incorporation into the seed substrate and applied 10 to 35 days prior to sowing or planted depending on the soil temperature.
Application Technique:
Basamid Granule can be applied with any terrestrial surface application equipment that can be adjusted for 300-600 kg / ha or can be applied manually with appropriate protective equipment (rubber gloves).
