Phenoxy herbicides are selective for wheat and corn crops. Applied to weeds, they adhere to the surface of the leaf and enter the plant. Part of the active substance is transported to the developmental peaks, and another to the root. Due to the excess of auxins that appear inside the weeds, its metabolism becomes extremely high, the cells grow, and the growth becomes uncontrolled. Finally, as a result of the high consumption of metabolic resources, the weeds dry out. A maximum degree of efficiency is attained in wet and warm weather because at the right time of growth and development the weeds are very sensitive to chemical treatment.
How to use it:
Dicopur Top is approved for post-emergence application in wheat and corn crops to combat numerous annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds.
Grass crops are applied from the breeding phase of cereals to the formation of the first internode, and the weed species are in the small phase of about 2-4 leaves and a maximum of 10-15 cm high for perennial weeds.
It is not recommended to apply the herbicide when the cereal grains are in advanced stage (over 2-3 internodes) because phytotoxic effects occur with the reduction of production per hectare.
The Dicopur Top corn crop is applied when the crop plants have 4-6 leaves, and the weeds are in the rosette phase.
The recommended solution quantity to apply on the surface of one hectare is 200-400 l.
Compatibility:
Dicopur Top is compatible with some products used in agriculture, except those with basic reactions. Before using, check the compatibility lists and perform a test.
