Mode of action and use:
Laudis 66 OD is a mainly foliar herbicide containing the tembotrione active substance of the new triketone chemical group. From a biochemical point of view, tembotrione inhibits the enzymes that form carotenoids (4-HPPD inhibitor), thus disturbing the photosynthesis process. Absorption in the plant is rapid, within one hour of application. It presents a double systemic action, being distributed ascending and descending in all organs to growth points. The specific tissue whitening symptom is visible 3-5 days after application followed by necrotizing and weed death within about 2 weeks after herbicide. OD formulation increases their adherence and penetration into the plant.
Laudis is applied in post-emergence, starting from the 2 leaf stage to the 8-leaf corn culture stage, at the dose of 2-2.25 l / ha (dose adjusted depending on degree and frequency of weed infestation), for control of dicotyledonous weeds and annual monocotyledons. The optimal moment of application in relation to the growth of weeds is when the diktiles are in the 2-4 leaf stage and the annual monocots are up to the beginning of the breeding. The volume of the recommended solution is 200-400 l / ha.
