Product information

Hudson is a post-emergent herbicide, selective for straw cereals, fodder maize, and pastures, which controls a large number of annual and perennial weeds.

Treated plants: Cereals, fodder maize, pastures

Mode of action: Hudson is absorbed into plants by the leaves and quickly translocates throughout the plant. Sensitive weeds no longer develop, discolor, and die within a maximum of 10 days.

It is essential that the target weeds appear fully before application, and that the treatment completely covers the foliar system of the weeds. Weeds that sprout after treatment are not controlled.

The best results are obtained when weeds are actively growing.

How to use it:

-Spring treatments (starting March 1): Wheat, Barley (autumn)

Apply 1 liter/ha if the weeds are small and 2 liters/ha when the crop has the 3rd knot. In the case of weeds that are 10-40 cm (optimal 15 cm), Hudson will stop their growth, it will not fight them completely.

When using the 2 liters/ha dose, DO NOT MIX HUDSON WITH ANY PRODUCT.

-Autumn treatments: Wheat, Barley (autumn)

Apply 0.5 liters/ha starting with the 2-leaf stage of the crop and until the end of February, but not after the appearance of the first node.

Newly sown pastures: apply 0.75 liters/ha at the beginning of autumn when the grass is well developed and the weeds are growing.

Permanent pastures: apply 2 liters/ha in 300-400 liters of water, in the spring at the rosette stage, but it can also be applied 14-21 days after mowing when the weed leaves have grown again.

Do not cultivate or harrow crops for the first 7 days after treatment and do not use Hudson in crops mixed with clover or other legumes.

Advantages of using Hudson Herbicide:

-It can be applied to wheat and barley until the appearance of the second internode;

-Very effective in controlling weeds from newly established pastures;

-It is one of the few herbicides for weed control in post-emergence fodder maize;

-Used in combination with other approved herbicides, it improves the action of controlling broadleaf weeds;

-Very good efficacy when used in mixture with methsulfuron methyl herbicides.
