Product information
Topas 100 EC is a translaminar localized systemic fungicide in the leaves, which combats different types of flaking. The product is rapidly absorbed by all active green parts of the plant, especially the leaves touched by the solution to be treated. Topas 100 EC also has a vapor action that provides protection to the parts of the plant that have not been treated directly but are in close proximity to the treated parts. The product shows good resistance to rain and is not washed by rain that occurs 3-4 hours after application of the product. Topas 100 EC contains penconazole which acts against fungi at the time of their penetration into the plant and during the period of haustoria formation. The product stops the development of diseases by interfering with the biosynthesis of sterols (ergosterol) in cell membranes.
Treated Plants: Fruit Shrubs, Peppers, Cucumber, Apple, Tradition, Vine.
Fights Diseases and Fungi: Powdery mildew, Leaf spot, Gray mold.
Topas 100 EC has preventive, curative, and blocking action on disease development. Although the mode of action permits curative use, the preventive application is recommended to avoid damage and irreversible crop infestation. Depending on culture, climatic conditions and disease evolution, and infection pressure, Topas 100 EC may have a duration of action of 7-14 days. The small range is used for high infection pressure.
How to use it:
-Vine: Treatments will be performed in accordance with local warnings. The first treatment with Topas is recommended to be applied before the disease develops. If the first symptoms of stroke have occurred, apply 2-3 consecutive treatments at 5-7 days after which preventive applications resume. These 2-3 consecutive treatments have the role of slowing the spread of the disease and blocking its development. Under normal conditions, 2-3 additional treatments with Topas are applied at 7-14 days, depending on the climatic conditions and the evolution of the disease. The maximum number of treatments with Topas 100 EC is 4 per season. For good efficiency in the case of high pressure, a vine-cutting operation is required at the level of the bunch.
-Combating pepper and cucumber fungi: Treatments can be applied to the first symptoms of disease development or warning. Treatments will be repeated 10-14 days depending on climatic conditions, culture time (protected or field), and disease progression.
-Fighting mildew on tomatoes: Topas 100 EC can be applied from the beginning of the shave to the petals, at the 7-day interval between treatments to stop primary infections and control secondary bypass infections. After this period, the treatment interval can be 7-14 days. The interval between treatments adjusts according to climatic conditions, disease evolution, and culture.
-For other cultures and diseases: the treatments will be done as a precaution or in accordance with local warnings.
Break time until the harvest:
-Pepper, cucumber, melon, watermelon, pumpkin, raspberry, raspberries: 3 days;
-Apple, tomatoes: 14 days;
-Vine: 28 days.
