Disinfectant Rely+On Perasafe, 810g

Rely+On PeraSafe is a disinfectant specifically developed to provide rapid broad spectrum decontamination against viruses, mycobacteria, bacteria, fungi, and spores.

PeraSafe 162g bottle of powder makes up approx. 10 liters of sterilizer solution. It is also effective against viruses, spores, and fungi that can be transmitted between patients via flexible endoscopes, ultrasound probes, and other reusable, non-invasive, heat sensitive medical devices. PeraSafe is ideal for sterilization of endoscope reprocessors and medical devices, for regular and larger scale sterilization. The powder activates simply by adding water. Only 10 minutes of contact time is needed for sterilization, and 5 minutes for disinfection.

PeraSafe is non-corrosive, has rapid action, it is environmentally friendly and 100% bio-degradable, no special disposal procedures required.

Dilution: 1,62% (15 minutes of action).

How to use:

Step 1: Fill a container with a suitable volume of hot tap water (30-35 degrees Celsius).
Step 2: Prepare the solution by adding 81 grams of powder Rely+On PeraSafe for every 5 liters of water.
Step 3: Mix until the powder is dissolved to form a blue solution (10-15 min.)

Use the solution as required. Perasafe solution fades to colorless in approx 1 hour and can be used for up to 24 hours after activation.

How it works:

The aldehyde- free Perasafe solution gives efficacy without harming the equipment or health risks to staff. This avoids the need for special fume extraction or waste disposal systems.

Perasafe powder generates peracetic and peracetyl ions in situ when dissolved in water. The neutral pH of the solution helps combine the biocidal efficacy of peracetic acid with materials compatibility which allows repeated and rapid decontamination of pathogens from instruments and other equipment.
