Product information
Challenge 600 SC is a pre-emergent aclonifen-based contact herbicide that is effective in controlling a large number of dicotyledonous weeds and monocotyledonous weeds.
Challenge 600 SC is a basic herbicide for the early control of some weeds that are more difficult to control in the vegetation after overcoming the sensitivity phase: newt, rapeseed, wild spinach, frog pepper, buckwheat, knotweed.
Characteristics:
-Effective in controlling weeds that are more difficult to control in vegetation after overcoming the sensitivity phase: newt, rapeseed, wild spinach, frog pepper, buckwheat, knotweed.
-The active substance is taken up by coleoptile, hypocotyl, cotyledons, and leaves when the weeds are sprouted at the time of application.
-The effectiveness of the active substance aclonifen is ensured by the persistence of the product, which varies between 1.5 and 2.5 months, depending on climatic conditions and soil type.
-There are no rotation restrictions, autumn cereals and rapeseed can be grown without problems.
-The active substance aclonifen acts on weeds by inhibiting two enzymes involved in the synthesis of chlorophyll and carotenoids.
Benefits:
-A basic product in the herbicide scheme.
-Reaching the maximum production potential, due to weed control from the early stages of development.
-Long-lasting protection, no rotation restrictions.
-Effective weed control, without risk of resistance, due to the two modes of action.
