Nemasol 510 represents the main best alternative to methyl bromide, decomposing into soil and not leaving any residues in plants. Its active substance, Metam-sodium is a superior, well-known agent that assures crop protection against various unfavorable factors. By diluting it with water, Metam-sodium breaks down into a volatile compound called Methyl-isothiocyanate (MIT). MIT then spreads into soil in the form of fumigant and attaches to the molecules that transport oxygen, preventing harmful factors using it. Used before setting up crop cycles, the product removes the competition created by weeds, diseases and nematodes that occur during the germination and first vegetation phases. Weeds are eliminated by destroying the seeds in the soil at the time of application. Furthermore, Nemasol 510 facilitates the cutback or elimination of post-emergence herbicides and allows extended crop cycles or successive cycles.

Recommendations:

- Apply between 650 to 900 L/ha;
- Apply 1200 L/ha for heavy infestation;
- For soil fungi apply at a depth of 50 to 60 cm;
- For nematodes and weeds apply at a depth of 30 cm;
- Maintain a minimum distance of 1 metre between treated area and other plants;
- Apply a correspondent water management;
- Make sure to consider factors such as: type of soil, depth, type of action, of sealing and of ventilation.
