Product information
Raisan 51 CS Soil Disinfectant, 25 litres is a versatile, highly effective product designed for harvest yields. It acts as a soil fumigant, it provides multiple benefits such as fungicide, insecticide, nematicide and herbicide activity. Its active substance, Metam-sodium is a superior, well-known agent that protects crops against various unfavorable factors. By diluting it with water, Metam-sodium breaks down into a volatile compound called Methyl-isothiocyanate (MIT). MIT then spreads into soil in the form of fumigant and attaches to the molecules that transport oxygen, preventing harmful factors using it. Raisan 51 CS Soil Disinfectant removes the competition created by weeds, diseases and nematodes that occur during the germination and first vegetation phases, facilitating regeneration of soil fertility. The increasing yield and quality of harvests can be easily improved due to its property of controlling weeds by destroying the seeds in the soil at the time of application. The ideal temperature range varies between 10 to 25 degrees Celsius, dry soils facilitating also higher spreading speed.
