Betanal Quattro SE is a very useful formulation designed for post emergence weed control in beet crops. The professional product contains effective active ingredients such as 60 g/litre phenmedipham, 60 g/litre desmedipham, 60 g/litre ethofumesate and 200 g/litre metamitron in the form of a suspo-emulsion. Betanal Quattro has the same broad spectrum of combat as Betanal Expert. It additionally provides a great deal of control for the weed species Setaria spp., Matricaria spp., Sonchus oleraceus and Sonchus asper. For this reason, it is recommended to treat Betanal Quattro in case of strong infestation with these species.

Product usage:
- Designed for beet growers;
- Read label before use;
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product;
- Avoid breathing dust/mist/vapours/spray;
- Remove protective clothing and wash hands and face thoroughly before meals and after work;
- Avoid contact with the skin and eyes;
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure that the substance does not cause any significant adverse effects to the environment beyond the application area;
- Do not apply directly into or onto water.
Recommendations:
- Weed size: Apply to actively growing weeds no larger than 4 true leaves;
- Rate: 2-5 L/ha. With red beet do not use more than 3 L/ha in a single application. On fodder and sugar beet do not use more than 5 L/ha in a single application;
- Spray timing: Use 2 L/ha from the cotyledon to the 2nd true leaf stage. Use 3 - 5 L/ha after the crop has 2 true leaves fully developed;
- In order to achieve full coverage of target weeds use a water rate;
- Do not use adjuvants if not indicated;
- Betanal quattro is compatible with Lorsban 50EC, Pyramin DF and Versatill Powerflo. Otherwise apply Betanal quattro alone unless experience has shown the mix to be safe;
- Avoid treatment if rain is likely.
