Product information
Cleranda is a professional herbicide that combines the action of two active substances with different modes of attack: imazamox, from the imidazolinone group and metazachlor, from the chloroacetamide group. With a residual activity, Imazamox is absorbed through the leaves and through the roots, and is then transmitted through plants to the growth zones where it blocks the synthesis of the essential amino acids responsible for cell growth and division. The metazachlor substance is predominantly absorbed by the coleoptile monocotyledonous plants and in the dicotyledons the metazachlor is mainly taken up by the roots. Dash HC is a specially formulated adjuvant that improves the distribution and adherence of the product to the cuticle and weed leaf wax by reducing the superficial droplet tension. It facilitates penetration of plant tissues and improves absorption with the ability to increase the efficacy, speed and regularity of herbicides that can be associated with. It also allows dose modulation to be used.
Properties:
- Active substance: 375 g / l Metazachlor + 17.5 g / l Imazamox;
- Concentrated suspension formula;
- Versatile at a busy time of year;
- Colour: white to off-white;
- Odour: characteristic;
- Group B herbicide.
Product usage:
- Optimum control of cruciferous weeds such as charlock, runch and hedge mustard;
- Suitable for all soil types as defined by Soil Texture (85) System, except sands and very light soils and soils containing more than 10% organic mater;
- In weed control, Cleranda is taken up via cotyledons, roots and shoots and takes maximum effect before, or shortly after, weed emergence.
Recommendations:
- Apply Cleranda at 2.0 litres per hectare;
- Apply Cleranda in 190–300 l/ha water volume as a MEDIUM spray as defined by BCPC. In more dense crops where weed shading is more likely use the higher water volume;
- For optimum spray coverage and to minimize spray drift, adjust the spray boom to the appropriate height above the crop, according to guidance provided by the sprayer and/or nozzle manufacture;
- Shake well before use;
- Optimum results are obtained from applications made to fine, firm and moist seedbeds;
- Culture must be in the phase of cotyledons developed until the eighth leaf;
- Apply post-emergence early, when the annual dicotyledon weeds are in the 2-4 leaf stage, and the monocotyledonous weeds, including wheat and barley samulastra, are in the 1 to 3 leaf stage, until twinning;
- Prepare Dash HC in solution together with BASF herbicides especially for crops of grain, corn, sunflower, lucerne, soybean. It is recommended to use a 0.5 l / ha dose mixed with herbicides for strawberries and alfalfa, and 1 l / ha for herbicide blends for other crops;
- For proper use, refer to the compatibility and dosage tables.
Please be sure to read, understand and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment when needed.
