Meta Gold 3% GB, 70 g

Meta Gold is a granular bait, with contact and ingestion action, which fights snails and slugs from crops and gardens.

Due to the active substance Metaldehyde and its chemical composition, Meta Gold 3% GB attracts mollusks with the help of proteins contained in the bait. Once ingested, it acts by stimulating the mucus-producing glands, which will secrete excess to remove the product from the body. Disruption of the mucus formation process decreases the defense reaction, blocks locomotion, and digestion. 

The snails will no longer be able to feed and will not be able to retreat to the soil, their death is caused by dehydration, right next to the place where they came in contact with the Meta Gold product. 

How to apply: 

Meta Gold 3% GB can be applied both pre-emergent and post-emergent.

The best results are obtained when the product is applied in humid and cool weather, which makes the snails more active and voracious. 

In sprouted crops, the application is done when the attack has been reported. If the attack is intense and prolonged, two consecutive applications are recommended, at intervals of about 10 days, but not more than 3 treatments per season.

It can be administered in strips or on the entire surface of the culture. On small surfaces, it is applied manually, and on large surfaces, it is applied on the ground using granular applicators mounted on a tractor or manual.

Recommendations: 

- DO NOT apply Meta Gold before heavy rains, as they may reduce the persistence of the granules. 

- Delayed application to deciduous plant species is NOT recommended, as the granules may remain in foliage and may be consumed by humans with edible parts (eg, lettuce).

- It is NOT necessary to mix with other products.
