Product information
Estet is a systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and partially through the roots and is translocated throughout the plant, killing weeds. It effectively fights annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds which are sensitive to 2.4 D from wheat and barley crops.
Benefits:
- Liquid formulation, easy to use and apply;
- It acts systemically, being absorbed by leaves and roots;
- It does not create resistance;
- The selectivity towards the crop plants is very good;
- The spectrum of weeds targeted can vary, comprising annual and perennial dicotyledons.
Action mode:
- Estet causes an abnormal growth of cells by disturbing the balance between synthesis and consumption of nutrients in favor of consumption, thus causing the death of weeds by depleting reserves.
- The used dose influences translocation rate of the herbicide, as well as the size of the weeds andis.
- The effectiveness is influenced by the climatic conditions (humidity, temperature) before and after the treatment.
Methods of application:
- use to control annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D in wheat and barley crops.
For wheat and barley crops:
- apply after the twinning stage until the formation of the first internode.
- apply to corn crops when the weeds are in the phase of 2-4 leaves, and the corn plants have developed 4-6 leaves.
- apply to pastures when the grasses have twinned, in the spring-summer period.
Compatibility:
- Check the compatibility lists or test before using the herbicide.
Recommendation:
- It is recommended for controlling annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D in wheat and barley crops.
- The recommended amount of solution is 200 - 300 litres / ha.
- Apply the solution as soon as it is prepared.
- To avoid drifting for neighbouring and sensitive crops, perform the treatment in calm weather.
