Product information
Crew ACE, 1 litre is a herbicide in the form of a concentrated, cream-colored suspension. It is used in post-emergence treatments to control monocotyledonous weeds in maize.
Benefits:
- It has a very effective action on weeds
- It has a fast absorption through the leaves
- It is selective even for corn hybrids
- It has no residual effect for the next crop
Action mode:
Crew has a double absorption system, both in the foliar apparatus and through the roots. Then, from these points, the product spreads throughout the plant.
Nicosulfuron is the active component of the herbicide and by its action blocks the cell division, af§ which it stops the formation of amino acids. Thus, the weeds are completely removed after about 3 weeks of application.
Methods of application:
- The stage of development of weeds and crop plants is very important when using Crew ACE.
- Apply when the weeds have 2-4 leaves, but before twinning, and the crop plants have a maximum of 4-6 leaves developed. In the case of rhizome crusts, they should be a maximum of 15-20 cm.
- The recommended dosage is 0.8 l / ha for annual monocotyledonous weeds and 1-1.5 l / ha for rhizome crusts.
- The application of this herbicide is done together with a large volume of water, 200 and 300 liters.
Compatibility:
Crew Ace is compatible with most herbicides commonly used for growing corn. For greater safety, it is recommended to consult the compatibility lists beforehand and perform a test.
Recommendation:
- The efficiency of the product can be lower when the temperatures are either too low or too high and when the crop plants grow under stress. Prolonged drought can affect the action of the herbicide in weeds.
- It is not recommended to apply this product if the crop plant has diseases or other pests.
- Apply with terrestrial spraying systems provided with continuous stirring / homogenization systems of the spraying solution, using normal volumes of water (200-300 l water per hectare, depending on the humidity condition at herbicide data). Before use, the package shakes well to homogenize the contents. After complete emptying, the packages are rinsed thoroughly with water (3 times), which is added to the tank with the herbicide solution.
