Product information
Gramin Max is a selective, post-emergent herbicide used to control monocotyledonous annual and perennial weeds in sugar beet, soybean, potato, rapeseed, pea, bean, carrot, tomato and sunflower crops.
Mode of action:
Gramin Max is a systemic, selective herbicide. It is absorbed through the leaves within a few hours of application and is then translocated into the plant at all growing points. The meristematic tissues are destroyed causing weed death.
It is selective for broad-leaved species where translocation is very limited and the product remains in the treated leaf area. In soil, the product is rapidly degraded by hydrolysis to CO2.
A few days after application, sensitive weeds stop growing, young leaves change colour, necrosis appears, and they dry out and die within about two weeks after application. The herbicide's action is faster the younger the weeds are and the better the growing conditions allow the crop to develop optimally.
How to use:
Gramin Max is used postemergence for the control of annual and perennial grass weeds including Sorghum halepense and Agropyron repens. The product is applied in the early stages of crop development so that the spray solution reaches the target weeds before the rows are fully covered.
In sunflowers, it is recommended to apply 2 to 8 leaves of the crop. The maximum dose is recommended for perennial grass weeds and for annual weeds that have outgrown the tillering stage.
Do not intervene mechanically in herbicide crops until at least 2 weeks after application to ensure the transfer of the active substance into the rhizomes.
Solution volume: 200-400 l/ha
Maximum number of treatments: 1/year
Do not apply to crops under stress (drought, temperature extremes, bleeding, insect attack, disease, nutrient deficiencies or other factors that reduce growth).
