Product information
Principal Plus, 440 g + Vivolt 250 ml, is a selective herbicide pack for post-emergence control of broadleaf, annual, and perennial weeds in corn crops. Trend 90 improves the penetration of active substances, especially in conditions of water deficit.
Benefits of Principal Plus:
- Complete post-emerge herbicide solution;
- Contains three powerful ingredients;
- Reduces spread of unwanted weeds;
- Great crop selectivity;
- No crop rotation restrictions.
Benefits of Vivolt:
- Improves the wetting properties;
- It determines the formation of a uniform film on the plant surface;
- It increases the adhesion and facilitates the penetration of the active substance in the tissues.
Action mode of Principal Plus:
- Quality control of weeds for cornfields;
- Contains a combination of three active substances: rimsulfuron, nicosulfuron, and dicamba;
- Rimsulfuron and nicosulfuron are sulfonylurea herbicides that block cell division in the growth points of plants, while dicamba acts as a growth regulator;
- The product is rapidly absorbed by the foliage and roots of plants and inhibits the growth of sensitive weeds shortly after application, thus preventing competition with crop plants;
- Symptoms such as discoloration and chlorosis appear 3-10 days after application, and weeds die after 2-3 weeks.
Action mode of Vivolt:
- It increases the effectiveness and speed of action of the herbicide during periods of low growth, in conditions of drought or low temperatures and for weeds that are difficult to moisten;
- Ensures even distribution of the active substance.
Methods of application:
Maximum herbicidal efficiency is obtained when the weeds are young, respectively in the period of active growth, from emergence to the stage of 2-4 leaves of weeds with broad leaves and/or rosette to perennials, until the end of the twinning of annual plants.
- The maximum dose per crop per year is 400-440 g per ha.
- Solution volume: 200-400 l per ha.
- Apply a single treatment per season.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Mixture with Trend is recommended to improve the penetration effects of active substances, especially in conditions of water deficits.
Recommendations:
Heat and humidity increase the performance of the herbicide, while cold and dry weather delays its activity and the appearance of symptoms.
In the case of weeds with Convolvulus arvensis and Calystegia sepium, Principal Plus is more effective if applied onto more developed weeds (15-20 cm). For Cirsium arvense, the best time to apply treatments is in the rosette stage with 4-6 leaves. Sorghum halepense or Agropyron repens are very well controlled if they have a maximum height of 15 cm.
Do not apply at temperatures below 12⁰C or above 28⁰C.
It is not recommended for seed corn, popcorn, and sweet corn, as some hybrids show insufficient selectivity.
For any new hybrid on the market, consult your seed distributor for selectivity before using the herbicide.
Avoid overdose by overlapping the spray area, as well the improper adjustment of the equipment.
Dose: 400-440 g / ha + 250 ml Vivolt. Maximum 1 treatment per year.
