Product information

Sencor 600 SC is a professional selective herbicide that efficiently combats a wide range of weed species encountered in numerous vegetable crops. Based mostly on Metribuzin as an active constituent, the product acts as both a pre-emergent and post-emergent solution ensuring superior results and increased yields. The suspension concentrate provides a quick and easy-to-use dispersion dilution and provides best results during the active growing process of young weeds. Created to offer superior results, Sencor 600 SC, ensures protection from the very first application providing residual control.

- Group C1;
- Easy-to-use product;
- Effective pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide;
- Assures a safe environment for crops;
- High level of absorption;
- Quick first results;
- Rapid knock-down effect;
- Provides residual control;
- Effective against a wide range of weeds;
- Weather resistant suspension concentrate.

Action mode:
A single application gives residual control as well as a knockdown effect on many weeds.
Sencor SC600 is particularly effective for the control of Kentucky bluegrass (Poa pratensis) in lucerne.
Methods of application:
Before mixing make sure the sprayer is completely clean, free of rust or corrosion which occurs from winter storage. Any tank-mix containing SENCOR should be kept agitated and sprayed out immediately. Do not allow tank-mixes to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Mixing procedure:
- Fill the spray tank 1/4 to 113 full with clean water.
- Add recommended rate of SENCOR OF while recirculating and with agitator running.
- Follow the triple rinse procedure described under "STORAGE AND DISPOSAL" to ensure that all product is removed from the container.
- Mix thoroughly and add clean water to fill the spray tank to desired level.
- Add the other herbicide to the tank last and agitate thoroughly.
- Continue agitation during application and until the sprayer tank is empty.

Weeds: Use as pre and post-emergence treatment when carrots have reached the two true leaf stages but before the majority of weeds have reached 4 leaf stages. Dose: 580 mL in 300-500 L of water/ha.

Weeds: Use as pre and post-emergence treatment after sowing but before seedling emergence. Do not exceed the recommended rate as crop damage and yield reduction may occur. Dose: 580 mL alone or 290 mL plus 3.0 L cyanazine (e.g Bladex) in no less than 200 L of water/ha after sowing but before seedling emergence.

Weeds: Use pre and post-emergence during dormant or semi-dormant periods of the crop. Pour 1.15 L in 300-600 L of water/ha. Where there is a strong infestation with perennial weeds apply 580 mL plus 1.6 L atrazine (50% a.i) or 580 mL plus 2.0 L paraquat (20% a.i) in 300-600 L water/ha. Do not use lucerne stands which are less than 9 months old.

Weeds: Use as pre and post-emergence treatment after planting but before crop emergence in order to control annual broadleaf and grass weeds. Use 700-900 mL plus 8.0 L alachlor (50% a.i) in no less than 300 L of water/ha.

Weeds: Use as post emergence treatment and apply 580 mL/ha of Sencor SC600 if you need to control both grass and broadleaf weeds. In those situations where nightshade is a problem add 1 kg/ha of Tribunil. Alternatively, for other present broadleaf weeds the mixture of 290mL/ha of Sencor Sc600 + 1 kg/ha Tribunil is recommended. Applications should be made in 300-500 L of water per hectare before the crop has reached 15cm in height and before the weeds have reached the 4-leaf stage.

POTATOES - Pre and post-emergence treatment for weeds
Early crop (cool, moist conditions): use 580 mL in 360 - 600 L water/ha during emergence but before the majority of the potatoes are more than 10 cm high and preferably when the weeds are at the cotyledon to two true leaf stage.
Main crop (warm, dry conditions): Use 875mL/ha in 340-600 L water/ha at weed emergence, but before the majority of potatoes are more than 10cm high and preferably when the weeds are at the cotyledon to 2-true leaf stage.

TOMATOES - Pre and post-emergence treatment for weeds
Pre-emergence in direct seed crops: use 580 mL in 300-600 L of water/ha after seedling but prior to crop emergence. If necessary follow with a post-emergence spray.
Post-emergence in direct seeded or transplant crops: use 580 mL in 300-600 L of water/ha as a directed spray when the tomatoes have 4 true leaves and the weeds are at the cotyledon stage.

No specific compatibility tests have been performed during product development, but a preliminary test for compatibility of formulations and development is recommended of phytotoxicity on the culture.

- Do not mix with products high in acid and basic drugs.
- If the application needs to be repeated, pay attention to the use of plant protection products with a different mechanism of action (other than Group C1).
- Treat symptomatically. If there is significant swallowing, gastric lavage should be taken into account within the first 2 hours. However, application of activated carbon and sodium sulphate can always be recommended.
WARNING: Do not spray peas until the crop has fully recovered from the effects of rolling and harrowing. Do not apply to crops suffering disease or frost damage. Do not apply to undersown crops.
