Captan 80 WDG, 25 g is a contact fungicide with both preventive and protective action against a large spectrum of phytopathogenic fungi, best when applied during the vegetation period.

Action mode:
Captan 80 WDG helps protect crops by:
- controls diseases on many fruits and vegetables as well as ornamental plants;
- blocks the breathing process and cell division of pathogens;
- improves the outward appearance of many fruits, making them brighter and healthier-looking.
This fungicide acts by blocking the processes of breathing and cell division of pathogens depending on climatic conditions. Captan 80 WDG has a retention of 7 to 20 days per plant. It favors wound healing caused by some external agents.
Methods of application:
Captan 80 WDG is applied during vegetation by splashing on warning or whenever it is needed. The spraying solution can be prepared directly into the sprinkler tank. Calculate the amount of Captan 80 WDG needed for the entire volume of liquid, dissolve in a few liters of water, pour it under constant stirring in the pre-filled tank, and fill with water to the mark.
Compatibility:
The product is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides, except for calcium and barium polysulphides, Bordeaux mixtures, and other substances with a strong alkaline reaction. Do not mix with oily products.
Recommendations:
Consult the label for optimum mixing, dosage, and waiting time between treatments, depending on the type of plant that is being treated.
Apply with spraying equipment provided with continuous tank shaking devices and well-tuned to ensure a finer spraying and better coverage of the leaves on both sides.
Breaking time from last application to harvest is 14 days for onions, cucumbers, apples, plums, and 21 days for tomatoes and vine.
