Product information
Kalif 480 EC, 1 litre is a systemic herbicide recommended for the control of annual dicotyledonous weeds. It actively reduces the spread of unwanted weeds and eventually leads to their complete elimination, without leaving any phytotoxic traces.
Benefits:
- Effective herbicidal effects;
- Quick absorption properties;
- No phytotoxic effects;
- Wide control spectrum;
- A single treatment per year is required.
Action mode:
Khalif 480 EC is a systemic herbicide for weeds:
- It is a systemic herbicide with a special formula that allows the active substance to be absorbed both by roots and by shoots;
- The active agent Clomazone acts as an inhibitor of carotenoid biosynthesis to achieve control of free radicals and peroxidation lipids, carotenoid inhibition, and to the destruction of chlorophyll, thus leading to plant chlorosis;
- Ultimately, the weeds die as a result of energy loss.
Methods of application:
Only one application is required during pre-emergence (maximum 3 days after sowing).
The optimal time to apply the treatment is when the weeds are at the lowest possible stage of development.
Dose:
- Autumn and spring rapeseed crops - 0.15 to 0.20 l with 200 to 300 l of water per ha.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Compatible with Sultan 50 SC (metazachlor, 500 g per L), for increased autumn rapeseed crop protection.
Recommendations:
- Use the whole mixture as soon as it has been prepared. When mixing crop protection products, follow the instructions for use of the partner product as well.
- Maintain the solution well mixed throughout the application of the treatment.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
