The certificate of approval of Actara 25 WG (approval certificate no. 1885/17 021999) is withdrawn from 20.11.2019. A grace period of 6 months is granted for marketing and distribution (until 20.05.2020), to which is added 6 months for the disposal, storage and use of existing stocks at the user (until 20.11.2020).
Actara 25 WG is a systemic long-acting insecticide, containing active substance: Thiametoxam 25%. It combats a wide spectrum of pests in a large number of crops. It acts by contact and ingestion. The product quickly penetrates the plant and then transported upward (acropetal) through the vascular system, protecting the entire plant, as well as new gains. Combats pests both in the larval and adult stages.
Mode of action and use:
For foliar applications, 1-2 treatments per season, at the warning, depending on the culture and biology of each pest, are recommended. It is recommended to alternate with products from other chemical groups (pyrethroids), for example the Karate Zeon insecticide.
