Product information
1.Casper 2 KG
Formulation: Water dispersible granules.
Casper is a new post-emergence herbicide for corn crops that combines a broad spectrum of dicotyledonous weeds including perennial or terraced weeds (Cirsium arvense or Poygonum convolvulus) by combining two active substances.
Casper is applied post emergently against annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds of the corn crops. Dosages for the Casper herbicide are as follows:
- for infestations predominantly with annual weeds in early stages of development 0.3 kg/ha
- For infestations predominantly with perennial weeds the dose of 0.4 kg/ha is used.
2.Mistral 240 SC
Characteristics:
Sulfonylureas, post-emergent, systemic corn herbicide. Shortly after the treatment, the active substance is absorbed by the leaves and transported in xylem and transports to the meristematic tissues, causing growth to stop, discoloration, necrosis, and finally the death of the target plants. Inhibits ALS enzyme activity (acetolactate synthase), resulting in cell division.
The herbicide Mistral 240 SC has a broad spectrum of action with a long-lasting effect on weeds over a 28-30 days period.
Recommendations: It is recommended to apply the herbicide in the 4-6 leaf corn stage, 2-4 leaf annual weeds or the costume in the rhizomes 15-20 cm. It can be mixed with phytosanitary products containing dicamba, bromoxynil, sulcotrione, thifensulfuron, rimsulfuron, terbuthylazine.
It is not recommended to mix the herbicide with beta zone, 2,4 D or organophosphorus insecticides that can create phytotoxicity in advance, thus weakening corn tolerance after application of nicosulfuron. (Treatment with the previously mentioned incompatible substances will be done 7 days before or 3 days after the application of the herbicide Mistral 240 SC).
