Product information
Callisto 480 SC, 1 litre is a unique herbicide for corn cultivation, featuring a new generation herbicidal formula for use in post-emergence, with a very high level of crop selectivity. It fights a very wide range of weeds typically found in corn crops, and also some annual grass weeds.
Benefits:
- Modern formula with natural active ingredient;
- Fights annual dicotyledons, annual monocotyledons;
- Ideal for post-emergent corn treatment;
- Reliable crop selectivity;
- Systemic herbicidal action.
Action mode:
Callisto 480 delivers quality control over weeds in corn crops:
- Features unique systemic herbicidal action in corn, using natural ingredients;
- It is picked up by weeds mainly through the leaves, from where it is translocated to the growing tips and, to a lesser extent, through the roots;
- Unlike exclusively foliar herbicides, it also provides control over weed species that grow in stages, over a long period;
- The active substance directly inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis in treated weeds, leading to leaf bleaching and the death of the plant.
Methods of application:
For pre-emergent and early post-emergent applications, Apply Callisto in a dose of 0.2 to 0.3 l per ha together with a graminicide for the control of annual grasses and weeds.
The volume of solution: 200 to 400 l per ha.
Crop rotation:
Autumn crops can be cultivated immediately after plowing.
Sunflower, soy, and rape can be cultivated 10 months after Callisto applications and the following plowing.
Beet and other vegetables can be cultivated 18 months after Callisto applications.
Crop | Weeds attacked | Application time | Dose |

Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- Use Atplus adjuvant at a dose of 0.5 l per ha to increase the effectiveness against already emerging plants.
- Avoid spraying the solution on other surfaces or other plants (eg beets, peas, berries, field beans, fiber, vegetables, grapes, fruit trees).
- Apply during the early morning or in the evening.
