Product information
Axial 050 EC, 5 litres is a systemic herbicide for postemergence control of the main annual monocotyledonous weeds found in straw cereal crops. Axial offers flexibility in controlling grass weeds, being very selective for the crops.
Benefits:
- Systemic herbicide with two active substances;
- Quality post-emergent control of weeds;
- Flexible applications, selective towards crops;
- Broad control spectrum.
Action mode:
Axial 050 EC controls unwanted weeds in cereal crops:
- It is a systemic product that is quickly taken up through the vascular system of plants;
- It produces the immediate inhibition of the development of growth meristems both of the green parts of the plant and of the root system;
- It also stops and blocks cellular metabolism, which will lead to the destruction of weeds in a period of up to 3 weeks, depending on climatic conditions.
Methods of application:
Applications are to be made during autumn or spring, depending on the level of crop and weeds development.
Nighttime temperatures must be above 7°C for efficient results.
Applications are to be made when weeds have at least two developed leaves.
Proper foliage coverage is essential for quality herbicidal results.
Use a normal volume of solution - 200 to 300 l per ha.
Dose:
Wheat - Postemergent treatments(twinning until the formation of the first internode, weeds in the stage of 4 leaves): 0.9 l per ha.
Spring barley - Postemergent treatments(twinning until the formation of the first internode, weeds in the stage of 4 leaves): 0.9 l per ha.
Compatibility:
