Product information
Toprex is a mixed product consisting of a growth regulator-paclobutrazol and a fungicide-difenoconazole. The active substances are quickly absorbed by the plant and are transported acropetally in the xylem of plant tissue.
The action of regulating growth is based on interfering with the biosynthesis of plant gibberellin, thus preventing the multiplication and division of cells. Thus, the exaggerated growth in height of the stem is slowed down, in order to improve the survival capacity during the winter, as well as the stability of the culture.
In this way, the risk of overwintering and protecting the production potential of the crop is also diminished.
The fungicidal action of Toprex is based on interfering with the biosynthesis of ergosterol in the cell membranes of fungi. Toprex acts against dry stem rot, preventive and curative.
