Safran 1.8 EC, 1 litre

Safran 1.8 EC, 1 litre is an insecticide-acaricide combo withat acts by contact and ingestion and fights against adults, larvae, and eggs of insects. It is a product with proven effects even against resistant forms of insects.

Action mode of Safran 1.8 EC:
- It is toxic to bees at the time of application. After a few hours, the toxic effect disappears;
- Abamectin acts on the nervous system of insects causing, in a few hours;
- It acts both by contact and especially by ingestion, and the maximum insecticidal activity is observed starting from the third day after application;
- The active substance moves through translaminar movement after penetrating the outside surface of leaves, moving its way through the whole plant, for complete protection;
- Redistributes uniformly through the plant tissue, and provides contact action against insects, damaging their nervous system and leading to paralysis and death;
- Break time: 3 days with vegetables and 28 days with apples.

Methods of application:
- Safran 1.8 EC is an emulsifiable concentrate solution, for use with low-pressure spraying equipment.
- For best results, apply Safran treatments when leaves have just developed and can absorb the active substance efficiently. This will enhance the residual effect of the product.
- Apply the product uniformly onto plants, using a volume of water of 1000 to 1500 l per ha.
- Apply treatments at the first signs of insect activity.

Compatibility:
- Safran is compatible with a high number of products used in the agricultural field but not compatible with Captan.
- It is compatible with most conventional insecticides and fungicides.
- Consult labels for compatibility and perform a test before applying together with other products.

Recommendations:
- Using adjuvants will increase the effects of the product.
- SAFRAN 1.8 EC is not absorbed through the roots so do not apply through the drip irrigation system.
- To avoid the appearance of resistant forms, apply in rotation with other products such as Nissorun, Mospilan.
- Best results are obtained when used together with other treatments for integrated pest management products.
