Product information
White Paste Protection Pomi Weißanstrich is a ready to use paint-type paste which protects trees against cracks and damage caused by frost. When people used to harvest their own fruits, bleaching the tree stumps was a common practice. That's why white coating is a classic protection against frost and temperature damage.
It is a paste-like substance that is applied to the bark of trees to protect them from damage caused by environmental factors such as frost, sunburn, and pests.
Benefits:
- Protects tree bark from the effects of frost;
- It prevents excessive heating of the tree stump, which can lead to damage in the spring;
- It can be sprayed using a special lime nozzle.
Mode of action:
- The paste contains a range of natural ingredients, including lime, chalk, and water, that work together to create a protective barrier on the surface of the bark.
- This barrier helps to reflect sunlight, which can reduce the risk of sunburn and overheating. It can also help to prevent frost damage by insulating the tree and regulating its temperature.
Method of application:
- Apply from the base of the trunk to the lower part of the branches. The product can be used throughout the year, at temperatures above 0 C, especially during November-March, when the trees need protection.
- The application dose is 270 g per square meter of bark. With 1.5 kg of product you cover up to 5.6 square meters of bark.
- If a larger amount is to be applied, the paste can be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:2, being easier to spread.
- You can dilute the protective paste with water in a ratio of 1:3 and apply it using a lime nozzle.
