Gas Mask Filter P3R-P2481

The Gas Mask Filter P3R-P2481 is designed for use together with filtering masks or half-masks to protect against gases and vapours created by unsafe chemical substances such as organic solvents, inorganic gases and vapours, sulphur dioxide, and other acidic gases.
The particle filter has the role of stopping the infiltration of powders and solid or liquid particles dispersed in the air. The filter cannot protect against industrial gases or vapours.

Instructions and recommendations issued by the manufacturer:
- The filter should only be used in conditions where the concentration of oxygen in the contaminated air is over 17%;
- It can be used as a reusable filter for a duration longer than a standard work shift;
- The connection to the mask is a standardised threaded connection Rd 40x1/7", according to European standard SR EN 148-1:2000 (EN 148-1:1999).

Specifications:
- The maximum weight of the filter is 200 g;
- The connection between the filter and the face mask is highly robust and sealed, the filter can be quickly replaced without using special devices;
- The filter is sealed at an internal overpressure of 0.15 ± 0.02 bar;
- The respiratory resistances of the filter are as follows: - at a continuous flow rate of 30 l/min, the maximum value is 1.2 bar - at a continuous flow rate of 95 l/min, the maximum value is 4,2 bar.

Filtration efficiency:
The maximum rating of the filter tested according to SR EN 143:2002 / A1: 2006 (EN 143: 2000 /A1:2006), falls within the following values:
- in a test with test agent NaCl (aerosol concentration of 8 ± 4 mg/m³) at a continuous flow rate of 95 l/min, the value is 0.05%;
- in a test with paraffin oil test agent (aerosol concentration of 20 ± 5 mg/m³ at a continuous flow rate of 95 l/min, the value is 0.05%, including the requirement following storage.
