Product information

Strawberries are a species of plant native Europe, northern Africa, and western and central Asia. It is a herbaceous perennial plant that grows in the form of a low-lying mat, producing runners and bearing small, white flowers with yellow centres, followed by edible red fruits. The fruits are small and flavorful, with a distinctive aroma and sweetness.

Strawberries can be cultivated by planting the seeds in a well-draining soil mix with a pH between 5.5 and 6.8.
Plant the seeds 1-2 cm deep and space them 15 cm apart.
Keep the soil moist and the environmental temperature high.
Place the plants in a sunny spot with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day.
Harvest the fruits when they are ripe.

Fertilise the plants with a balanced fertiliser every 2-4 weeks.
Prune away any dead or diseased stems and leaves.
Monitor for pests and diseases, and treat as necessary.
