The leaves of the plant are approximately 2 to 3 cm in length and 1 cm in width and have a sweet taste. The leaves are used as a natural sweetener and are 20 to 30 times sweeter than sugar. Cultivation:
Start Stevia Rebaudiana seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost of the season.
Sow the seeds in soil-less potting mix, and keep the mix moist.
Place the seedlings in a sunny window, or under a grow light, at least 16 hours a day.
Transplant the seedlings into larger pots, or directly into the garden, after all danger of frost has passed.
Harvest the leaves when they reach a height of 20-30 cm.

Recommendation:
Feed the plants with a liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks.
Plant Stevia Rebaudiana in a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
