Red Onion Morada de Amposta Bio, 2 g is a type of onion found in Catalonia, Spain. The onion is a favourite of chefs and is known for its sweet and mild flavour. The Morada de Amposta onion is very popular in the area and is used in many dishes. It is a large onion with a light purple colour. The flavour and sweetness of the onion is due to its high sugar content and low acidity. Onions can be eaten fresh or cooked in various dishes.

Cultivation:
- Choose a site with well-drained soil and at least 6 hours of daily sunlight.
- Till the soil to a depth of 25 cm.
- Add a 2-3 cm layer of compost to the soil and mix it in.
- Plant the Morada de amposta onion seeds 5 cm deep and 10-25 cm apart.
- Water the onions regularly, providing 1-2 cm of water per week.
- Fertilise the onions with a balanced fertiliser once a month.

Recommendation:
Mulch around the plants with a 5 cm layer of straw or grass clippings to help retain moisture.
