Product information

Oregano is a spice that comes from a small, shrub-like herb around 40 cm in height with oval, green leaves and clusters of small flowers. It is commonly used in Italian cuisine and is often used to season dishes like pizza, sauces, and salads. Its flavour is earthy, and its aroma is strong and aromatic. Oregano is most commonly used when dry, but it can also be used fresh.

Cultivation:
- Fill a pot with a soil mix that is equal parts of potting soil, perlite, and compost.
- Water the soil until it is moist.
- Sprinkle the oregano seeds over the top of the soil.
- Lightly press the oregano seeds into the soil.
- Cover the pot and place it in a warm, sunny spot.
- Remove the cover once the seeds have sprouted and keep the soil evenly moist.
- Transplant the oregano seedlings into individual pots or into the garden when they are at least 8 cm tall.

Recommendation:
Keep the soil evenly moist and fertilised every two weeks.
