Physalis alkekengi is a herbaceous perennial plant with simple, short petiole leaves. Whitish flowers with greenish calyx turn red and envelop the fruit in the shape of a bright red, little lantern.
Sowing: It is sown in protected areas, starting in March. After 30 days, when they have 3-4 true leaves and 5 cm in height, they are transplanted.
