Product information

Capers are a Mediterranean plant with bright green leaves and delicate white flowers that produce small, round berries. These berries are dried and used to add a salty, pungent flavour to dishes. It grows best in warm climates and needs plenty of sun and well-draining soil. They are often used to enhance the flavour of sauces, salads, fish dishes, and pasta. Capers can also be used to make relish, pickles, and condiments.

Benefits and General Info:
- Perennial shrub;
- High in nutrients - vitamins and minerals, including iron, calcium, vitamin K, and antioxidants;
- Can help reduce inflammation;
- Good source of fibres and low in calories.

Cultivation:
- Capers are usually grown in Mediterranean regions and require a warm climate.
- First select a sunny location and prepare the soil.
- Add a layer of organic compost to the soil to improve its drainage, then spread the caper seeds over the area.
- Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and water them regularly. Once the plants reach 4-6 inches in height, prune them back to promote bushiness and flowering.
- Harvest the capers when the flower buds are green and plump.

Recommendation:
Thin out the seedlings when they are two to three inches tall, and keep the soil moist and weed-free.

Please be sure to read, understand and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment when needed.
