Innocid Gel HDG-i 42 is a disinfectant gel for hygienic and surgical disinfection of hands and skin. Use HDG Innocid 42 for routine hand disinfection procedures or before a surgical procedure to disinfect the skin before performing injections or punctures.
How to use:
1. Hygienic Hand Disinfectant: rub your hands with Innocid 42 HDG for at least 30 seconds.
2. Surgical hand disinfection: Rub your hands and forearms with Innocid 42 HDG for at least 1 minute.
3. Skin disinfection before simple injections before peripheral venipuncture: Rub the area that is needed for at least 30 seconds.
4. For application with cooling compresses: use HDG 42 Innocid gel combined with an equal amount of water.
Application time:
- Bacteria: Hygienic hand disinfection: 30 sec (EN 1500, prEN 12054);
- Surgical hand disinfection for : 3ml x 1 min (EN 12791);
- Fungus: 30 sec (EN 1275, EN 1650);
- TBB (Tuberculosis): 30 sec (EN 14348);
- Enveloped viruses: 30 sec (EN 14476);
- Noro Viruses: 30 sec (EN 14476).
Precautions:
- Liquid and vapors with a high degree of flammability.
- Causes serious eye irritation. May cause dizziness or drowsiness.
- Avoid heat sources / sparks / flames / hot surfaces.
- Do not smoke. Keep the container tightly closed.
- Wear protective equipment.
- In case of contact with eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove your contact lenses, if necessary, and if you can do so easily. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
- Store in a well-ventilated area. Keep the container tightly closed.
- Recommendation: Disposal should be made in accordance with official regulations.
All Innocid disinfectants act against all forms of Staphylococcus aureus and protect against MRSA.
