Product information
Estet is a systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and partially through the roots and is translocated throughout the plant, causing weed death. Effectively fights annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D of wheat and barley crops.
Treated plants: Barley, Corn, Wheat
Weeds attacked: Black nightshade, Common fumitory, Common groundsel, Common poppy, Common purslane, Corn buttercup, Creeping thistle, Field bindweed, Knotgrass, Ragweed, Redroot pigweed, Shepherd's purse, Spear saltbush, Wild radish
Mode of action:
Estet causes abnormal growth of cells, disturbing the balance between synthesis and consumption of nutrients in favor of consumption, thus causing the death of weeds by depleting reserves.
The translocation rate of the herbicide is influenced by the applied dose, the size of the weeds, and, in particular, by the climatic conditions (humidity, temperature) before and after the treatment.
How to use:
It is recommended for controlling annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds, sensitive to 2.4 D in wheat and barley crops.
For wheat and barley crops, it is applied after the twinning stage until the formation of the first internode.
It is applied to corn crops when the weeds are in the phase of 2-4 leaves, and the corn plants have developed 4-6 leaves.
It is applied to pastures when the grasses have twinned, in the spring-summer period.
The recommended amount of solution is 200 - 300 liters/ha.
The solution must be applied on the day it is prepared, it is not kept for the next day.
The treatment is performed in quiet weather, to avoid drift for neighboring, sensitive crops.
Advantages of using ESTET herbicide:
-Liquid formulation, easy to use and apply;
-It acts systemically, being absorbed by leaves and roots;
-It does not create resistance;
-Selectivity to crop plants is very good;
-The spectrum of weeds targeted is varied, comprising annual and perennial dicotyledons.
Compatibility: Check the compatibility lists or test before using the herbicide.
