Product information
Discopur M is a selective, systemic, hormonal herbicide, which is absorbed mainly by foliar, but is also taken up by the roots. Some of the active substance (750 g / l MCPA acid) remains in the leaves and some of it goes to the roots, where the excess auxin prevents the development of the root system of the weeds.
Benefits:
- persistence in the soil for 1-4 weeks
- no restrictions on crop rotation
- maximum efficiency in less than 4 hours
- under normal climatic conditions Dicopur M decomposes biologically
- it requires only one time/year application
Action mode:
- Dicopur M causes cell growth disorder and affects respiration.
- Thanks to the active substance MCPA it is rapidly translocated into the plant and concentrates in the meristematic growth areas.
- Excess auxin accelerates metabolism, causes abnormal cell development, inhibits perspiration and prevents the development of the weed root system.
Methods of application:
- Apply in post-emergence, in vegetation, when the temperature is above 15 ° C, from the stage of 3 leaves until the appearance of the ligule (BBCH 13-39). The stage of annual weeds should be 2-4 leaves, and the size of perennial weeds should be 10-15 cm.
- The application of the herbicide in the advanced phase (over 3 internodes) produces phytotoxic effects and leads to a decrease in production.
- The amount of solution required for application per hectare is between 200 - 400 litres.
- In conditions of drought, we recommend applying the maximum recommended volume of solution.
- Apply Dicopur M only once a season.
Compatibility:
- Dicopur M is compatible with other herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
- Perform a compatibility test before use, or consult the compatibility tables.
Recommendation:
Keep in mind that the translocation rate of the herbicide is conditioned by the applied dose, the size of the weeds and, in particular, by the climatic conditions (humidity, temperature), before and after the treatment.
