Product information
Dicopur D SL is a systemic, homogeneous, hormonal and pale purple herbicide based on two active substances called 344 g / l 2.4 D acid from SDMA + 120 g / l dicamba. It is used to remove unwanted weeds from wheat and corn crops. Part of the active substance is transported to the leaves and another to the roots. Due to excess auxin, a powerful growth hormone produced naturally by plants, weed metabolism becomes extremely high.
Benefits:
- The product persists in the soil for 1-4 weeks, during which time it acts with the same efficiency
- The auxins contained in this herbicide make it possible to successfully control most weeds
- Applied to weeds, they adhere well to the surface of the leaf and penetrate directly into the plant
Action mode:
- Phenoxy herbicides are very selective for wheat and corn crops. Applied to weeds, they adhere well to the surface of the leaf and penetrate the plant.
- Due to the excess auxin that appears inside the weed, its metabolism becomes extremely high, the cells lengthen and the growth becomes uncontrollable. That is, the herbicide causes abnormal and uncontrolled growth of plant cells, inhibits respiration and the development of the weed root system until they wither.
- It has a relatively high translocation rate, but it also depends a lot on the dose applied, on the size of the weeds and especially on the climatic conditions existing before and after the treatment: humidity, temperature.
- Humid and warm weather are most favorable for maximum efficiency because weeds are very sensitive to chemical treatment.
Methods of application:
- Apply post-emergence and in full vegetation, in calm and warm weather. That is, when the temperature is above 15 ° C, according to the product approval.
- For wheat crops, the application will be made when it has reached the growth stage of 3 leaves until the formation of the first node, and the dicotyledonous weeds have formed 2-4 leaves.
- Quantitatively, the product is applied depending on the degree of infestation and the size of the weeds. The recommended dose is 1 L / ha.
- For corn crops, the application will be made post-emergence, in spring when the corn plants have 3-6 leaves, and the weeds are in the growth phase when they have 2-4 leaves. The recommended dose is 1 L / ha.
Compatibility:
- Dicopur D SL herbicide is compatible with other herbicides, fungicides and insecticides.
- But before use in combinations, it is recommended to perform a practical compatibility test respecting the doses indicated on the label.
- It is recommended to consult the compatibility tables.
Recommendation:
- It is recommended to apply the product in normal climatic conditions.
- There were no restrictions on crop rotation.
