Product information
Butoxone M 40 EC, 5 litres is a systemic herbicide that is absorbed through leaves and, partially, through roots. It is intended for use in green peas crops, to control unwanted weeds.
Benefits:
- Efficient results against perennial dicotyledonous weeds;
- No crop rotation restrictions;
- Systemic action with reliable absorption and translocation properties;
- Ideal for the protection of green peas plants;
- Single treatment per season.
Action mode:
Butoxane provides reliable results against weeds that appear in crops:
- The product is absorbed through the leaves and partially through the roots, and moves rapidly within the plant, and concentrates in the meristematic growth areas of plants;
- The weed control mechanism is based on cell growth disorder and impaired respiration of the plant, leading to necrosis and the death of targeted weeds.
Methods of application:
Butoxone M 40 should be applied when the pea crop is actively growing, the plants having 10 to 12 cm in height.
Best results are obtained if, at the time of application of the treatment, weeds are already sprouted in large numbers and are in the phase of 2 to 4 leaves.
For treatments performed during the optimal period of application, the recommended dose is 2 to 2.5 l.
Herbicidal treatments are performed until the appearance of flower buds. Later application may result in decreased yield.
Volume of solution: 200 to 400 l per ha.
Use regular spraying equipment, with 2-3 bar pressure.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Not compatible with oxidizing agents, powerful acidic products, or powerful bases.
