- Quick absorption through foliar application;
- Reliable action - weeds are eliminated within 2 weeks;
- Quality control against most monocotyledonous weeds;
- Rainfall does not diminish the product effectiveness after treatments;
- Biodegrades in the soil, no residual effect for post-emergence crops.
Action mode of Gramin 5 EC - post-emergent weed treatment:
- Contains a powerful systemically active substance that is applied post-emergence to control grass weeds in rapeseed, sunflower and beet crops;
- The substance is rapidly absorbed through the leaves of annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds, and then translocates to all points of plant growth, including roots and rhizomes;
- Destroys lipids in meristematic cells, leading to the complete elimination of unwanted weeds;
- The substance penetrates leaves within 2 hours, the first symptoms appear within 7 to 10 days (leaf yellowing), and weeds die within 21 days.
Methods of application:
- Treatment applications are made post emergently to control annual and perennial monocotyledonous weeds.
- For effective control, it is recommended to apply in the phase of 2-4 leaves for annual monocotyledonous weeds and until the twinning phase. For perennial weeds, apply treatments when they have reached a height of 15 - 20 cm. In the case of sunflower crops, the plants should have 2-3 pairs of leaves.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
Mechanical work must not be performed within the crop for 14-20 days after Gramin 5 EC treatments.
The recommended amount of solution is 200 to 400 litres per ha. Re-apply treatments if reinfestations appear.
