Product information
Roundup is a totally non-selective herbicide which combats a wide range of annual and perennial weeds with possible uses in all crops. It comes in the form of a clear and concentrated liquid, slightly yellow, with a characteristic odor, and soluble in water.
Benefits:
- The herbicide has a systemic action and is rapidly distributed in the plant
- It ensures the rapid destruction of weeds
- It does not involve a risk of adverse effects on subsequent crops
Action mode:
- Roundup combats mono and dicotyledonous weeds, including Johnson grass from pre-harvest corn crops, straw grain and harvest crops, apple orchard plantations, plums, annual and perennial weeds located on railroads and uncultivated land.
- Because it has a systemic action, the herbicide is quickly distributed in the roots, rhizomes and stolons, thus ensuring the rapid destruction of weeds. The first visible symptoms that appear in weeds after the application of the treatment are the withering of the leaves, followed by their yellowing.
The fixation in the soil of the active substance from Roundup is done approximately 6 hours after application, under normal conditions of use. Thus, the risk of adverse effects on subsequent crops disappears.
Methods of application:
Method of administration: Foliar spraying, brushing, stem injection, application on the trunk.
- Roundup Classic Pro is a herbicide recommended in post-emergence treatments to eliminate perennial monocotyledonous weeds. The product is applied when they have sufficient leaf area and are in an intense stage of growth (20-30 cm for Couch grass and 40-50 cm for Johnson grass).
For perennial dicotyledonous weeds: application should be done close to the flowering period or at the rosette stage for Cirsium Arvense.
For annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds: application should be done when the plants have at least 2-6 leaves.
For uncultivated land: apply the product to the full emergence of weeds or before elongation of the stem.
Applying the product before sowing / planting: when the weeds are 5-10 cm.
When applied with a brush: use a mixture of one part Roundup Classic Pro and 2.75 parts water.
Compatibility:
There are no product specifications that might be compatible with this product. But the verification of the compatibility with other plant protection products is done by performing a physical-chemical compatibility test beforehand.
Recommendation:
The waiting period after applying the product before sowing or planting is at least 1 day if the soil is infested with annual weeds. In case of perennial weed infestation, wait at least 5 days.
When applied before harvest, the break time is at least 7 days after use. The application is made when the grain moisture is below 30%.
Do not allow animals to enter the treated areas for at least 5 days after application.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
