Larvicide HokoEx, 5 kg

HokoEx is a larvicide with specific and unique properties developed for the control of fly larvae in manure and other breeding sites.

HokoEx acts as a growth regulator and affects the molting process of fly larvae, blocking their development to the adult stage, by inhibiting the chitin formation mechanism. The larvae cannot develop their exoskeleton, “dry up" and die. It does not kill adult flies. The elimination of the adult fly population occurs gradually, by blocking larvae development.

For maximum effectiveness, apply HokoEx in combination with an adulticide like Quick Bayt 2EXTRA WG10 or Agita 10 WG, for the total eradication of the larvae that have already evolved to the stage of pupa also.

Directions for use:

HokoEx is ready to use a formula that can be applied in three different ways:

1. By direct dispersal of the dry granules: HokoEx can be applied in the form of dry granules dispersible liquid manure or if it is very wet.

2. Spraying: Dilute 250 g of HokoEx into 1-4 liters of water.

3. Pouring: 250 g HokoEx diluted in 10 liters of water. If the manure is dried only applies to cast.

Dosage: The dose to be applied HokoEx 250g / 10 m² regardless of the method of application.

Repeat applications of Hokoex usually are not necessary until six weeks after treatment and are generally most efficient when made as soon as maggots re-appear. Animals may be present during application.
In order to control fly larvae apply HokoEx, exceptional every 14 days. Depending on the housing system-specific application patterns further, increase efficacy.
The simultaneous use of a specific insecticide for adult flies may coincide with the first application to substantially improve the efficiency of HokoEx and can combat flies.

In stables for cattle and horses - HokoEx is applied as a 50 cm strip, along the walls under or next to the equipment installed, by casting or spraying. When applied to liquid manure, pellets can be dispersed directly. The first application is better to make in 1-3 days after discharge manure.

In shelters of cattle grown on grills - apply  HokoEx evenly over the entire surface.

In pigs grown on full grid floor - apply HokoEx over the entire surface, and if the floor is partially made of grill, apply uniformly on the grilling section, on the entire surface, and on the full floor apply on the edges.

For best results and if possible, apply before entering swine, shortly after removing manure/ manure mixture.

In poultry housing with a manure tank and in the presence of wet slurry - HokoEx granules will disperse directly, and in the case of dry manure will be applied by pouring or spraying. Apply on the entire surface. It will be applied at about 1 week after the removal of manure, but before the thickness of the accumulated manure to be greater than 10 cm.

HokoEx can also be used in:

- Farms poultry (especially in batteries for laying hens);
- Farms for breeding and fattening pigs;

- shelters for sheep and goats;
