CDC Wilton - Model 1912

CDC Wilton - Model 1912 is a professional trap effective in capturing a large number and diversity of mosquitoes, because of the addition of dry ice (which involves CO2 gas). It is also attractive, thanks to its shiny and black appearance. This trap captures mosquitoes inside a screened cup, located on its upper side. This trap also contains an Insulated Dry Ice Container (P/N 1.10). This is actually an enhanced Igloo drink cooler, that has an addition of stainless steel hardware and makes it easy to use when placing 2 kg of dry ice. The rate of the sublimation is slowed down by the insulation and by hanging the trap from the hook below the cooler. This is how the CO2 is released to the correct location, right above the trap.
