Product information
Optigard Ant Gel Bait is an insecticidal gel bait to fight ants, less fire ants (Solenopsis), pharaohs (Monomorium pharaonis) and Pogonomyrmex.

Mode of action:
-Optigard Ant Gel Bait is ingested and taken to the nest, where it generates a "waterfall death" effect, exterminating the entire nest.
-The effect of the insecticide is visible within a few hours of application, but it can take several days to get complete control.
-In about a week, the entire colony of ants is eliminated, including the queen.
-The insecticide remains attractive for up to two weeks after application, its attractiveness being enhanced by its moisture retaining properties.
-It allows an easy and practical intervention, and does not present any risk for pets.
Way of usage:
-Optigard Ant Gel Bait can be used both indoors and outdoors.
-After monitoring the infestation level, treat the infested surface by applying insecticide in the form of "beads" or small gel lines, at distances of 1-2 m.
-Just one drop per square meter is enough for the insecticide to be effective. In case of a massive infestation, a more abundant application is recommended.
-For best results, apply Optigard Ant Gel Bait in areas where ants are actively observed and in those with high humidity potential.
Inside: Apply insecticide around windows and doors, under and behind appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washing machines), in the area of door frames, in corners hidden from light, where there are cracks in the wall or floor.
Outside: Apply the insecticide on or near structures where ants are observed, in floors, drains and pipes entering the structure. Exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures and water can reduce the effectiveness of the insecticide.
Inspect the infested surface and reapply if necessary.
The insecticide is intended for use in residential, industrial and commercial areas, in warehouses, restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals, nursing homes, motels, hotels, schools, apartments, buses, boats, ships, trains, etc.
The application of insecticide in food or food / feed preparation areas is limited only to the treatment of cracks and voids.
