Profita is a kind of wrinkled, semi-early pea that has recently appeared on the market. Profita variety is recommended both for domestic consumption and for industrialization.
Characteristics:
-Medium to large pods, with a particularly good aroma;
-Dark green pods, with a length of 9 - 10 cm, a diameter of 9.5 mm and with 9 - 10 grains/pods;
-The foliage has an attractive blue-green color with strong plants, which develop 2-3 pods / knot;
-High vigor of the plants, their height is between 70 - 75 cm.
Resistant to pathogens:
-Flour (Powdery Mildew IR);
-Fusarioza - fop 1 - fusarium oxysporum race 1.
Peas are a little pretentious to heat, which allows them to be sown in early spring or in winter windows.
TSW (mass of 1,000 seeds): approx. 230 g.
Recommended density: 800,000 - 1,000,000 plants / ha.
