Product information
Elumis, 20 litres is a herbicide designed to control the growth of annual and perennial grass weeds, as well as broad-leaved annual and perennial weeds in corn. It delivers foliar action against sprouted weeds and secondary action in soil, where it helps in controlling emerging weeds.
Benefits:
- Large control spectrum;
- Single treatment per season;
- Foliar action;
- Controls monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds;
- Wide application window;
- Two synergetic active ingredients.
Action mode:
Elumis - corn herbicide:
- It has a foliar action that eliminates already sprouted weeds;
- Secondary soil action, against sprouting weeds. This is achieved through the absorption of the products by the coleoptile and hypocotyl of weeds;
- Grain or feed corn can be reseeded immediately in case the crop treated with Elumis becomes compromised. Plowing is recommended before reseeding;
- Autumn wheat and autumn barley can be sown after Elumis-treated corn. Spring wheat, corn, or barley can be sown the following spring.
Methods of application:
Can be applied during post-emergence, with a wide application window starting with the 2 to 8 leaves phase of the corn crop.
The application of Elumis herbicide should take place in the early stages of weed development: dicotyledonous weeds - 2 to 4 leaves, grass - 2 leaves until the twinning stage, rhizomes - 10 to 20 cm.
The recommended dose for annual weeds is 1.5 l per ha, a lower dose can be applied during the early stages of weed development.
Use a higher dose on heavier soils or with strong weed infestation. The optimal effectiveness of the treatment is obtained with proper preparation of the germination bed, in soil without lumps, following autumn plowing.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Non-compatible with Bromoxil based products.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- Do not apply Elumis to hybrid corn.
- Do not apply Elumis to corn treated with organophosphorus soil insecticides. Do not mix Elumis with foliar fertilizers or liquid fertilizers.
- Do not apply in a mixture with other sulfonylurea herbicides or in soils treated with this type of product.
- Under certain conditions, corn can suffer transient symptoms of yellowing and limitation of culture growth for 1-2 weeks after Elumis treatments. These do not leave long-lasting effects on the crops.
- Application is not recommended for crops under stress such as pest attacks, low temperatures, excess moisture, or drought.
- Avoid applying the product at temperatures lower than 10C or higher than 25 C.
- Avoid drift spraying onto adjacent crops.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
