Product information
Pallas 75 WG is a systemic herbicide in the form of fine, water-soluble granules. It is applied post-emergence to control grass weeds and broadleaf weeds in wheat crops.
Benefits:
- weed growth is stopped immediately after application
- the effects can be seen after only 3-4 days
- it is compatible with many other herbicides, which increases its effectiveness
- it degrades rapidly in the soil and does not pose a danger to the postmergent culture
Action mode:
- Pallas 75WG translocates systemically through the plant, inhibiting the synthesis of major amino acids, after which it inhibits cell division. Eventually, weeds that are sensitive to this substance stop growing and wither.
- Weed growth is stopped immediately after application. The first visible effects after treatment are discoloration and twisting of the leaves and can be seen 3-4 days after application.
- Complete control is carried out 2-3 weeks after the application of the herbicide, depending on the type of weeds and the climatic conditions.
- The effectiveness of Pallas 75WG Herbicide is enhanced by the addition of an adjuvant which also helps to increase control over sensitive weeds in all environmental conditions. The adjuvant also improves the effectiveness of all weeds that are moderately sensitive.
- Pallas 75WG degrades rapidly in soil and poses no danger to post-crop cultivation, including vegetable crops. On the other hand, the repeated use of products with the same mode of action may lead to the emergence of resistance to certain weeds. That is why it is recommended to use herbicides with different modes of action.
Methods of application:
- Apply directly to the ground by spraying.
- Perform treatment from the moment when the cultivated plants reach the stage of 2-3 leaves or 2-3 internodes, and the grass weeds have up to 3-4 brothers or 6-8 leaves in the case of those with broad leaves.
- Weed control is influenced by their stage of development. The younger the plant, the easier it is to control. Therefore, in order to have the best results, it is recommended to spray when weeds are actively growing.
- The optimum treatment temperature is between 8-25 ° C, but it can also be administered at 5 ° C. The disadvantage in this case is a slower control effect, because the first symptoms will appear later, but without affecting the final efficacy.
Recommended dosage:
- 110 g / ha + 1.0 l / ha adjuvant for annual monocotyledonous weeds and 250 g / ha + 1.0 l / ha adjuvant for dicotyledonous weeds.
- the application of the herbicide must be accompanied by a large amount of water, about 250-350 l / ha.
Compatibility:
Pallas 75WG is compatible with most fungicides, insecticides, foliar fertilizers and most herbicides.
For greater safety, the compatibility list will be consulted and a test will be performed.
This herbicide can be mixed in the tank with Lancelot or 2,4-D to expand the spectrum of dicotyledonous weed control. The addition of fertilizers such as urea, ammonium nitrate or ammonium sulphate can improve weed control activity.
Recommendation:
Recommended adjuvants: methylated rapeseed oil with a dose of 1 liter / ha.
It is important to avoid contact of the herbicide with grass crops other than the one for which it is approved.
It is recommended to apply Pallas 75WG herbicide only once a season.
Make sure the weeds are evenly covered with the solution to be treated.
It is recommended to use herbicides with different modes of action.
